Offspring

Offspring is a 3D animated short film that was selected for presentation at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria. The project was curated by Sophie Gartner and focuses on themes of growth, transformation, and visual storytelling through abstract animation.

I was responsible for fluid and smoke simulations in the film. Liquid simulations were created using LiquidGen, and the smoke effects were done with Embergen – both powerful tools by JangaFX. These simulations played a key role in shaping the film’s dynamic visuals.

Working on Offspring gave me the opportunity to apply technical skills in a creative, professional production environment and contribute to a project that was part of an internationally recognized digital arts festival.
